This is the perhaps true autobiography of a mafia hitman (written by "Anonymous" of course). The writing seems humble and descriptive enough, and covers a range of topics as he grew in the organization. Numbers, loan-sharking, stealing, etc... It is interesting to take business lessons from this perspective since you can see some of the common elements from a much more practical point of view than is explained in most texts. One of the points which rang true was that you can ask your boss to help you out in a situation, and they will, but that will be the last time you get promoted. In order to rise, you need to prove that you can handle a difficult situation by yourself rather than relying on your boss for help.
