Need a Money Tree...YEAH!
Hey Guys,
Summer has been friggin busy between work, 2nd work, Band and house reno. Evening are mostly free now. I am going to be spending a lot more time on this stock stuff.
I was looking around for "penny" stock that are jumping around.
TSXV
PSR : looks like the "falling knife" at the moment, thinking it will hit around $1 then come back up. there has been lots of activity
AKV : could be something
TSX
BIM :This one could be on its way up. The remaining 50M shares were just purchased by a third party company. It is rather low compared to 2 yrs ago. trading at ~1.1 and was 3.5
Maybe something or nothing
Cheers

BIM has been offered a buyout by AMS @ $1.10 per share.
So that's all it's worth , even though it's trading at $1.17 , it would be a bad buy because when the deal goes thru , you will end up with the buyout amount of $1.10 , or $1.10 worth of AMS shares , which would be about 1/20th of an AMS share.
The thing with small companies like BIM , is that even tho they are sitting on one of the richest iron ore deposits in the world , they don't have the capital to develop it , if they did , the upside could be huge , but all you get in a buyout , is the buyout price.
I bought some at .40 and sold at .60 earlier this year.

They also have a lot of shares, meaning it will take a lot to move the price. I'm also not sure that the demand for iron ore will be increasing significantly over the next few years. The world has lots of operating mnes already, often in countries where operating is cheaper like Brazil.

Vaughn,
Love to hear new stuff, so lets analyze one of your picks and see what we come up with. Not enough time to do many of these, so make it a good one. I need a preliminary analysis including a little more description of why you think it would be a good pick.
